2023 In-Person New Year's Invitational!

Orange County Math Circle’s 12th annual New Year’s Invitational is coming up soon! It is a FREE, in-person MATHCOUNTS-style tournament open to all students in grades 6-8. The tournament has four rounds, each testing and challenging your knowledge, speed, and accuracy!

• Who: All students in grades 6-8!

• Where: IN-PERSON at University High School (4771 Campus Dr, Irvine, CA 92612)

• When: Sunday, January 22, 2023

• Time: 12:15 PM - 5:00 PM PST

• Cost: Free!

• Structure: The competition will consist of a sprint, target, team, and countdown round.

• Teams: 

  • Teams can be formed beforehand and consist of 4 students, either all 6th graders or a mix of 7th and 8th graders. 

  • If participants do not have a team, they will be placed into one on the day of the tournament.

• We will have a bake sale with packaged snacks and water! Please consider bringing some change.

Registration ends Friday, January 20th, 2023 at NOON (12 PM) PST!
